ABOUT US
AMOR MATRIS AND WELLNESS FOUNDATION is a not-for-profit and non-political organisation dedicated to advancing mental health awareness, emotional wellness, and substance use prevention across communities. Our journey began with a vision to create healthier communities through healthier minds. We provide essential services such as early interventions, community outreach programs, public sensitization campaigns, and psychosocial support to tackle the growing challenges of mental health conditions and substance use disorders.
OUR CORE PROGRAMS
At AMOR MATRIS AND WELLNESS FOUNDATION, we are building a society where mental health and wellness are prioritized, stigma is eliminated, and individuals affected by mental health challenges or substance use disorders have access to the support, care, and opportunities they need to thrive. Below are our core programs.
Mental Health Awareness Campaigns
​We organize awareness programs, workshops, and public sensitization campaigns that educate communities about mental health, emotional wellness, stress management, depression, and anxiety.
Substance Use Prevention & Education
​Our prevention initiatives focus on educating young people, families, and communities about the dangers of alcohol and drug misuse while promoting healthier coping mechanisms and lifestyle choices.
Community Outreach Programs
​At AMOR MATRIS, we take mental health conversations directly into communities through outreach initiatives, school engagements, faith-based interactions, advocacy walks, and wellness education campaigns.
Counselling & Referral Support
​We intentionally provide emotional support, guidance, counselling referrals, and access pathways for individuals seeking professional mental health or rehabilitation services.
Women & Girls Wellness Initiative
​This program provides targeted psychosocial support and empowerment interventions for women and girls affected by substance use disorders, trauma, stigma, or emotional distress.
Family Support & Aftercare
Recovery does not happen in isolation. We support families and caregivers through counselling guidance, education, and emotional support that strengthen long-term recovery and rehabilitation outcomes.
