There was a time in my life when drug addiction had taken me to a place I never imagined I would be. It was one of the darkest periods of my life. Addiction affected the way I saw myself, the way I approached life and, perhaps most painfully, my belief that things could ever get better. At some point, it becomes difficult to imagine a life beyond addiction. You know something needs to change but knowing that and finding the strength to make that change are two very different
